GRAPE EXPECTATIONS EP. 09 - What is Port Wine?

What is Port Wine?
In simple words, we can say that Port Wine is a fortified wine - it has residual sugar and a high alcohol content.
But how is it made after all? That's what we're going to explain to you today, in this new episode of our series!
Did you know that once we have made Port, we can divide it into two great styles of wine? It is true! We can split between Tawnys Ports and Ruby Ports!
The Pacheca Port 20 years is a blend of different Port wines, it is a wine that as we see in its label, is 20 years old, and all its characteristics correspond to it’s age, its aroma, its color and mouth. It is a Port Wine that presents a bright amber color with an elegant nose and evident notes of dried figs, nuts and caramel. It is extremely smooth in the mouth, with an acidity that gives it freshness.
We hope you enjoy it!
